Conveniently located on the first floor is a powder room and laundry room. An oak staircase leads to the second floor with three bedrooms. Adjacent to one another are the two smaller bedrooms that features a full bunk bed and the other a set of twin bunks beds. These bedrooms share an elegant bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The master suite features a king-size bed and private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. All bathrooms feature Moen fixtures, and raised height vanities. All bedrooms hold personal televisions, no fighting over T.V. time on this vacation!

Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses!
Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
 
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
 
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
 
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. 
 
 
Community Pool:
The Town of Prominence offers a 2 large resort style community pools! The New Prominence South Pool is located just steps from Sea Mist and features a stunning fire pit! The North Pool is over 5,000 sq ft and is just a short walk across 30A with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center!

Overall it was a good stay. It’s a cute house and it looked as advertised. It was pretty clean, just some wear you’d expect in a rental over time. Check in was easy and check out instructions were simple. It was great to be close to The Big Chill with various restaurants and shops. The pool area wasn’t very clean. Many people did not pick up after themselves and there was a lot of trash left behind and food smashed on the ground. There were employees at the pool, but no one seemed to be doing any upkeep. My biggest complaint is that the listing and welcome app are not up to date. There is no shuttle to the beach. We planned our trip around the Santa Clara Regional Beach Access because there was supposed to be a shuttle, so that was disappointing.

The shower curtain and hooks need replacing in the bathroom upstairs. The rugs, sofas, and walls need some updating or cleaning. The master bedroom mattress is too high in the middle. Might look at getting it replaced. Wish it had better access to the beach. Please warn your guests about bikes because apparently there is a lot of theft on 30a. Unfortunately we have to pay for our stolen bikes. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Thank you

The beds, especially the master bedroom, were horrible. They need new mattresses asap. You can barely move in the bed bc zero support. Every single movement makes very loud cracking sound in master bedroom. We had to default to the couch bc it was so loud and uncomfortable.

This place was beautiful as well as all the amenities. Only thing we did not like was the mattress in both places we stayed. My back is still hurting and we planned to extended our stay one more week but we couldn’t stand spending one more night in that bed unfortunately. Also, we didn’t like that fact that out WiFi was shut off 3 hr before take off and I couldn’t finish my work. Communication could also be a bit better and faster. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This was our second fall break trip staying in this unit. We absolutely love everything about it! So clean and spacious with all the necessities. The neighborhood is quiet and safe for kids to ride bikes. We hope to stay again next year!
