Beach Access: Sandy Curls Cottage is about 1 mile from the Blue Mountain Beach Access, a convenient beach access with public restrooms. It's also located 1.3 miles from the Gulfview Heights Beach Access as well! Take the provided 6-Seater, Street-Legal Golf Cart, or one of the provided bikes to get there quick!
 
Pool Access: The Seasonally Heated Community Pool, just STEPS from the home, offers an outdoor kitchen, outdoor TV, waterfalls into the pool, a hot tub fire pit and more! Seasonally heated March and April!
 
Highland Parks of Blue Mountain Beach is a new upscale resort community located among the highest elevations along 30A. The home also sits next to Point Washington State Park and its meandering nature trails, with beach access just one mile from the front door!
 
Directly across from the home lies the stunning community pool, which offers a collection of covered and uncovered seating areas, an outdoor kitchen, outdoor TV, waterfalls into the pool, a hot tub and a fire pit. The community pool area also has a four-story observation tower from which you can enjoy dazzling views of the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding Blue Mountain Beach. A Pleasant mile walk from the home will get your toes in the sand.
 
Hardwood floors, granite counter-tops, Victorian paneling, and simple coastal decor are just a few of the features that make this home worthwhile escape. The living room offers comfy, premium furnishings while the dining area offers seating for 6 with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. The dining room and living room lead to a large fully screened-in back patio with gas grill, perfect for the whole family to unwind and enjoy the sea-breeze. The front porch is also screened in and offers ample seating.
 
The master suite is conveniently located on the first floor with a King bed and large private bath with double vanities and a large standing shower. The second floor holds three bedrooms; two with Queen beds, and a third children's bedroom holding two twin beds with a pull out trundle. There are two full bathrooms serving the upstairs bedrooms, and a powder room off the living area.

It was a Very nice home and just what we expected. There was construction the last three Days so we were woken up at 7 am. But, we would have booked anyway if had known. Someone else might have been very upset. Everything was clean and just perfect. We will definitely be back. And thank you again for letting us come a little early since we had babies.

We had a wonderful time at this beach house! Some suggestions for the future. 1. The ceiling fan in the master only has one speed and it is low. The master is the warmest room in the house, so having a fan is important. 2. It would’ve been nice to have an extra trash bag or two, more dishwashing detergent, more paper towels and more toilet paper. 3. The outdoor furniture, especially in back, is awkward and the pads are flat. 4. The Master room mattress is really uncomfortable. It has indentions in each side from peoples bodies. 5. We were constantly having problems with the living room television losing connection from the internet. We don’t watch much tv but when we wanted to it was not always possible 6. The golf cart battery meter is not accurate. I didn’t realize this until I saw the light bar under the seat. I read your instructions again and it clearly states that the main meter is not working. However, I missed it when I read it first. If I didn’t notice the lights we would’ve been stuck somewhere. 7. Multiple roaches in the Master bathroom. A couple by the toilet and two in the shower that ran into the drain when I turned the lights on. 8. Master bath rain shower head needs cleaned. All the rubber nozzles are clogged and spraying thin streams of water in multiple directions. Again, we had one of the best vacations we’ve ever had! Loved the decor and the layout of the place. The kids loved the upstairs and enjoyed having their own rooms! If we owned this place we would want this feedback. If you have any questions, fee free to reach out.

I regret we were not able to enter the home until 4:00 p.m. and we were required to vacate by 10:00 a.m. Please consider an earlier entry time. There were chicken bones in the kitchen, spilled chips on the front porch, the grill was not clean upon arrival. We spent time cleaning up upon arrival. The wifi/cable was frequently inoperable in the evenings. Construction was going on next door... nothing like trying to enjoy a vacation with the sound of excavators, saws, etc. The pool area was nice (fire pit needs maintenance). Home is nice and the golf cart makes it convenient to travel to the beach access. Good location and amenities e.g., golf cart, bikes, grill, pool, spa (not a jacuzzi), fire pit (when working).

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was in a great location. We could easily get around everywhere on the golf cart. Very close to the pool and an easy drive to the beach. The house had everything we needed. We had three little ones and it was great to entertain them. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beach house. First off, I have to say this was one of the cleanest vacation rentals I have ever stayed in. It truly was spotless when we arrived. The house has plenty of space for kids and adults. Large bedrooms with huge closets. It’s super close to the pool and taking the golf cart to the beach was a breeze. I spent a lot of time on the screened front porch during the times it rained and we ate several dinners on the screened back porch. My only suggestion would be to supply guests with a vacuum cleaner to help clean up sand during the stay. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for a wonderful vacation

We loved the location of the house to the pool for sure. The gold cart made the trek to the beach really easy. The bikes were nice but we did have an issue with one of the locks not working and someone had to come out and take care of that for us. Some difficulties we had mainly came with plumbing in the home. We had to fix constant running in three of the four toilets in the house and the tub in the upstairs hall bathroom had to have service done when it would not turn off. However, the response was quick and the people we worked with were kind and helpful. All in all it was a really wonderful stay! Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time at Sandy Curls! Our only complaint was that the home apparently changed owners just before our stay and this caused us to not have access to cable or WiFi for the first five days. We don’t do a lot of TV at the beach anyway, so it really was a minor issue. The master bedroom is pretty stuffy at night, the rest of the house is super cool but the master isn’t for some reason. Fans are a must! Beautiful home and great neighborhood! We loved the golf cart and bikes! So much room to spread out in this house. With two separate screened in porches, there’s a spot for everyone.
