Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal). Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Prominence Beach Shuttle runs seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Community Pool: The Town of Prominence offers a 2 large resort style community pools! The New South Pool is located just a short walk from the home and features a stunning fire pit! The North Pool is over 5,000 sq ft and is just a short walk across 30A with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center!

We had a fantastic time! The house was clean and the location was wonderful! We enjoyed sitting on the swing and gliders on the front porch. The Hub was just steps away from the front door. Having the bikes and golf cart included was a huge bonus. We would definitely consider staying here again.

This home is INCREDIBLE! 14 Pleasant was clean, beautiful, spacious and incredibly convenient. Four adults and five kids had room to spare! The HUB has endless options for food, drinks, fun treats for the kids. The golf cart was a great way to get to the beach and additional dining options in the neighboring areas of Rosemary Beach and Seaside. When we arrived the house was in pristine condition and we had everything we needed. The door codes and garage codes also made arrival super easy. It was only a half hour drive from the Panama City Airport and the car rental there was a piece of cake. We also took a hike in one of the Camp Helen State Park which had a scavenger hunt for the kids which they LOVED. We will absolutely be returning to this 30A gem.

Loved everything about the house and had a great stay! We didn’t want to leave! The wifi was very spotty so it made calls/streaming difficult but luckily we didn’t have too much work to get done online during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The bikes were a really nice addition and provided easy access to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked and had plenty of utensils and cookware. The only negative was the golf cart. It did not keep a charge and consequently could not be driven anywhere outside of the complex.

The home is just as beautiful as the pictures, spotless with the exception of the floors. Walking barefoot turned the bottoms of your feet Black as coal!! There is no way they were cleaned!! We had a few problems with the bicycles , chain came off 2 and had to be walked back to the house. Great location! The music from The Hubs was nice to listen to from porch. We would rent this property again.

First, let me start by saying the house is beautiful! It was spacious and more than enough room for 11 adults. There is even a pull out couch and blow up mattress, which I didn’t remember seeing it advertised in the listing. The walk to the hub was less than 5 minutes and they have different options for food. The golf cart and bikes were a great touch and got us too and from the beach so that we didn’t have to all drive our cars. We will defini

Beautiful home w lots of space. Comfortable beds. Golf cart was huge and used for the daily trips to the beach. The Polk sound system was great for the music lovers! Cooked all our meals in the home and enjoyed them on the large dining table. Porch swing was mice to sit on in the evening as we spent every evening hanging out front.

Overall this property was really nice. Great location near the Hub. The pool being across the street wasn't a big deal, other than having to cross a very busy 30A with children. A pedestrian overpass would be great. The house was very clean with the exception of the off-white sofa and chairs in the living room which were pretty dingy. All of the bedrooms were a great size. The beds felt clean. The mattresses were extremely firm, so keep that in mind if you don't like a firm bed. Also there are no curtains in the bedrooms, only blinds, and it is VERY bright in the morning. I sleep with an eye mask so I was fine, but others in our group woke up earlier than they would've liked because it was so bright. The bunk room in the hall was great for the kids and there is just enough room to fit a twin inflatable mattress on the floor between the bunks and dresser. The kitchen appliances were great, but the ice maker in the fridge door didn't work. Again, overall this was a very nice property and we would stay here again.
