Guest can take the Shuttle down to Gulf Lakes beach Accesses or see the Deer Lake State Park with its rare dune lakes.
 
This new two-story luxury townhome presents a coastal feel of rest and relaxation in the heart of 30A. Being only minutes away from popular hotspots such as Seaside, Watersound, and Alys Beach! 'Beachy Keen' is dressed in wood-grain tile floors throughout, crown moldings, high-end appliances and fixtures. 30A is a scenic stretch of highway down Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast enclosed by Destin and Panama City Beach. Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal) or bikes! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
 
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
 
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
 
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
 
The Prominence Beach Shuttle runs seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

No Pets: No pets of any kind are permitted in 'Beachy Keen.' No exceptions will be made. Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional $500, plus the expense of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.

No Smoking: Smoking in any form (e.g. cigarettes, cigars, “e-cigarettes” or “vapes”) are not permitted in 'Beachy Keen.' No exceptions will be made. Overall very pleasant. Easy to access the house and the house was clean and well presented. I would recommend providing coffee for residents that would get them through at least one morning. There is *nothing* available nearby and coffee + breakfast options are limited and SUPER crowded in neighboring towns. It would have made us feel much more relaxed.

Everything was great. Only issue we had was the ladder on bunk bed was broken. Once I called to notify they sent someone out.
