The Prominence Beach Shuttle runs seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal) or the street legal 6 seater golf cart or bikes! So many options!! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.6 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (approx. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Provide beach towels
It was everything that we thought it would be. The wether didn’t cooperated, but we managed to have a good time.
Clean and comfortable. Very nice neighborhood.
All Couch cushions soaking wet on arrival, 0 trash bags, 1 roll paper towels, 1 laundry detergent, 1 dishwasher packet, 2 bottles shampoo and 2 bars of soap for 6 people- 5 night stay. Called for resupply and brought over next evening
Our family stay was wonderful. Home was immaculate. Everything we needed. Only suggestion is to give directions to which front door belongs to the unit because we spent a good amount of time walking to different doors trying to unlock it. Hoping To not be at the wrong door. Maybe I missed it in the instruction but I don’t recall seeing it. Other than that it was perfection!
Place is lovely and staff is responsive! Thought there could had been a couple more dishwasher and clothes washer pellets and dish liquid soap. The oven had error code I figured out a work around to use it. Floors need a little more attention in cleaning. Otherwise we really did love our stay!

Hi! We loved the house and the HuB area! The WiFi in the house was fine but around the Hub area was brutal! Haha we were on beach time so we tried to not let it bother us! Some negatives... Several times we came home to an open garage door... that we know we had shut! It even shut on us while we were standing in the driveway! The door knob in the queen bedroom kept falling off. The master bath glass shower door overlaps and we were afraid it was going to break when shutting it! We had some ants the first few days... but those seemed to be come after they came and sprayed. All of those negatives didn’t make our stay un enjoyable... just a few things to take note... I know it’s a new build and I understand things are exactly perfect when it comes to new builds! We will definitely be back and stay in the townhouse again! It was gorgeous! Thanks!
