The Town of Prominence is 30A's newest vacation destination boasting resort style pools, private cabanas, hammocks, outdoor dining pavilions (With grills!), bathhouses and a fitness center. A short walk across 30A, residents enjoy access to 'The Hub' which features restaurants, boutique shops, and The Prominence Town Center event pavilion with weekly concerts and movie nights! With seasonal shuttle service to the beautiful Deer Lake State Park and Gulf Lakes beach accesses, the Town of Prominence is sure to provide an unforgettable vacation experience for the whole family.
 
Recently built and tastefully decorated with a coastal ambiance, this two-story luxury town home offers a carefree and relaxing atmosphere for your coastal escape! Just minutes from Seaside, Watersound, and Alys Beach, The Town of Prominence is located between all the best of 30A!
 
Wood-grain tile floors, crown moldings, high-end appliances and fixtures are just a few of the features that will make this home part of your family's go-to vacation spot year after year! The comfortable living room offers new, plush furnishings with a 65" 4K TV overlooking an outdoor patio. While the gourmet kitchen boasts stainless steel GE appliances, Moen fixtures, and European style cabinetry.
 
Conveniently located on the first floor is a powder room and laundry room. An oak staircase leads to the second floor with three bedrooms. Adjacent to one another are the two smaller bedrooms that features a full bunk bed and the other a queen-size bed. These bedrooms share an elegant bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The master suite features a king-size bed, 55" 4K TV and private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. All bathrooms feature Moen fixtures, and raised height vanities. All bedrooms hold personal televisions, no fighting over T.V. time on this vacation!

30A is a scenic stretch of highway down Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast between Destin and Panama City Beach. The highway connects the coastal villages of South Walton through the undisturbed beauty of rare dune lakes, sugar white sand, and emerald blue waters indigenous to the area. Each village has its own unique characteristics that paint a fairy tale like scene against some of the country's most beautiful beaches. Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal), bikes, or golf cart! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
 
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
 
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
 
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
 
The Prominence Beach Shuttle runs seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
 
Community Pool:
The Town of Prominence offer a large resort style community pool over 5,000 sq ft! The pool is just a short walk east on York Lane with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center!

Nearby restaurants to The Town of Prominence 30A include The Hub which offers several restaurants including - Reds Chicken Shack, Crave Roadside Burgers, Mile Marker 15, Local Smoke, American Drinking Post, Mr. Freeze, The Hub Taco Truck, as well as many more!

The house was wonderful. Had all the extras we might need for the beach or pool. Beds were comfy, a/c cool, water hot and view off the back porch was nice. The area is nice and the golf cart and bikes were a bonus for getting around. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

The beach access is not as easy as I thought it would be. We actually drove to other towns to get to the beach. The golf cart would not charge properly and I didn’t like that the teenagers weren’t allowed to to drive it. The house was very nice and the kids liked riding bikes through the neighborhood. The Hub was nice but to expensive to feed a family there every night.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Prominence. Beautiful house equipped with golf cart and beach chairs. Easy walk to the community pool and The Hub. Note that the closest beaches with vehicle/cart parking are about 3 miles away, but still easy to get to, and the shuttle was useful for for individuals in our group to meet up/leave the beach at various times when needed. Would stay again!

Everything was great !!!! The only thing I would critique would be the number of facial towels. There was not enough for 13 guests, so we had to go out and get our own. Other than that, no complaints my way. The house was clean, felt like home away from home and we were close to so many things. I love the fact that we had bikes and especially a golf cart. My 2yo loved taking rides on it. Heck, he tried to drive a few times. LOL. Definitely will be booking again. I will be telling all my family and friends about our stay here. I highly recommend. Thanks again for the hospitality for my family and friends.
