30A is a scenic stretch of highway down Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast between Destin and Panama City Beach. The highway connects the coastal villages of South Walton through the undisturbed beauty of rare dune lakes, sugar white sand, and emerald blue waters indigenous to the area. Each village has its own unique characteristics that paint a fairy tale like scene against some of the country's most beautiful beaches. Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal), Street legal, 6-Seater Golf Cart, or bikes! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (approx. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Prominence Beach Shuttle runs seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Community Pool: The Town of Prominence offers a 2 large resort style community pools! The New Prominence South Pool is located just steps from Sea Mist and features a stunning fire pit! The North Pool is over 5,000 sq ft and is just a short walk across 30A with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center! 
Nearby Restaurants: Nearby restaurants to The Town of Prominence 30A include The Hub which offers several restaurants including - Reds Chicken Shack, Crave Roadside Burgers, Mile Marker 15, Local Smoke, American Drinking Post, Mr. Freeze, The Hub Taco Truck, as well as many more!

Beachwalk Vacations was FANTASTIC! This was our first time to stay in the Prominence/Hub area of 30A and it was wonderful. The house, the golf cart, the bikes, the cooler and beach toys, etc were SO appreciated since we were flying in from out of state. The Beachwalk Reps were always quick and helpful to answer my questions before and during our stay. Thank ya’ll so much! Already planning another trip.

A couple of the bikes we were not able to use. One had a flat tire and another the chain was off the gear. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and had no issues.

House was beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and comfortable for our 2 families (6 kids total). Both king bedrooms had huge closets for a makeshift nursery. We used the closest beach access (right at 1 mile) and it’s doable with bike or the golf cart, but not walkable with lots of beach gear or a child. Lots of stairs at that beach access so plan accordingly if you use a stroller, wheelchair, or beach wagon. Heads up that the smoke detectors are super sensitive if cooking or grilling. Neighborhood was lovely and pool was awesome on the same street. Biggest con: the fees were absolutely outrageous

The house was amazing! Had everything you could need, the only thing I’d be aware of when booking is while it sleeps 10, the one bunk room is just two double beds and most adults don’t fit two per bed comfortably. Besides that we loved the house and would stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the home was amazing, The Hub was really close and fun, the golf cart, included with the home was a hit with the kids. The one issue we had was the internet access and ability to make/take phone calls was terrible. Although we had full wifi signals on our devices the ability to get to a website was spotty at best. When we got your checkout instruction link the day before we left, we couldn't access the link and had to send a message and hope it went through. PLEASE work on this, we would love to come back next year but need to be accessible to those back home.

Suncatcher gave us the best place to stay on 30A! The house was so clean and welcoming that we felt right at home when we walked in. We decided to stay in this location because you are central to all the small towns Seaside, Aly’s, Rosemary and Watercolor. We were able to bike to all of them : ) The Hub (which is literally a 3 min walk from the house) was a great place to gather at the end of the day for a meal or a cold drink with the family. The staff is so friendly and diligent about staying clean and safe during this time which was a relief. Also, the new pool across the street was a great activity for our little girl. There was no need to make a fuss about having to spend time at the pool because it is literally a two min walk. So when we needed to head back to the house to give her a nap there was no hassle : ) We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to go back!

Absolutely beautiful house we loved the decor, the balcony, comfortable beds. The attention to detail was exceptional. We had no issues with check-in, check-out or use of the amenities. quick responses to any questions we had and the house is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures! This house was sparkling clean and had all the thoughtful touches. We will definitely be back soon!
