The house was roomy for our family of 9. My only criticism is that the thermostat on the 3rd floor master suite was preset to 78 which made the room quite warm especially because hot air rises (from the other 2 floors). We could only override it for two hours' segments before it reset to 78. Thus, it was too warm and uncomfortable overnight.
Enjoyed ourselves - plenty of room for our family of 6, good location, etc. We did have a few issues that I contacted management about - a coffee pot with an off center handle that made it very awkward to pour, a non-operational fan/remote in the master bedroom, and a quite strong and disconcerting sulfur/rotten smell from the tap water throughout the house. They said they were sending someone out while we were out one day, but none of these issues got fixed and I never heard about any updates. Other little things - noticed that the bracket for the upstairs master BR fan remote is just held in place with small finishing nails rather than wall anchors- its loose. And the hot water supply for the master BR sink across from the shower comes out of the RIGHT faucet instead of the usual LEFT. Took a minute to figure that out. But we had a great time and would consider staying again.
The trip started out rough (family member tested COVID+ so attempted to change dates without any help or success from customer service). I would highly recommend trip insurance with any purchase. Regarding the stay and property, it was quiet pleasant. It is an easy bike ride to inlet public beach access which was not busy. It is about a 10 minute bike ride on busy road/construction site to Rosemary Beach so be aware it is not super close to Barrett’s square. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and up to date. We had to buy little things such as —antibacterial hand soap, dish soap, and coffee filters which are usually included in houses like these especially at this price. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay but couldn’t give it 5 stars.
