Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal) or bikes! So many options!! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.6 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access.
The Town of Prominence offer a large resort style community pool over 5,000 sq ft! The pool is just a short walk east on York Lane with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center! The New Prominence South Pool is located just behind the Hub across 30A!

Great accommodations. Very clean. However, the kitchen was lacking on cookware and cooking utensils. We found the closest beaches had a very long walk from the parking lot to the beach. We ended up driving to Inlet Beach 4 miles away. Overall great place to stay.
We loved staying here! It was beautiful and clean. We would have liked to have more amenities, such as more trash bags and dishwashing tablets. We could have cleaned more if the vacuum were working properly. The pullout couch/bed did not lay flat. I would also suggest to make it very known in the listing that there is only one parking spot for this condo and where guests are able to park if they bring more than one vehicle. We also followed the directions to a t and weren’t able to use the outdoor keypad for the garage.
Great stay , would definitely stay again , awesome location with great amenities , golf cart and patio a plus ! Door from the garage leading inside needs fixed ,hard to shut had to slam it or push really hard to get it to latch , often found it open when we thought it was closed !
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house had most everything we needed and had just the right amount of space for us and was nice and clean when we arrived. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of towels and wash cloths. We also enjoyed the use of a gulf cart. My 4 year old Granddaughter especially loved riding it it. She also loved the pool when we were not at the beach. It was very toddler friendly with a large shallow area for littles to play in the water. I would definitely recommend this house to others looking for a nice comfy place to stay.

I wanted to clean the golf cart prior to leaving but did not know where I could do that. Other than that, our stay was excellent.

Great place, great support staff!! A\C was acting up, and Beachwalk had service there ASAP. I would definitely recommend this location! Note: if you use the Keurig - take your own coffee cup. The cups in the house are tiny; however, no big deal - I just bought a fun one to keep.
We had a great stay at this unit. It was conveniently located near the pool and a 3 minute walk to the HUB. This unit was very clean and check-in was easy. I would highly recommend.
