We loved our stay here! It had everything we needed, plenty of pillows and blankets too.
We had an awesome stay at the Beachwalk condo. Two adults, 3 teenagers and 1 child and we had plenty of room. The condo was furnished with everything we needed. It was clean and we had plenty of towels and washcloths. If there was anything negative to say about our stay it would be the cleanliness of the pool and the area around it. I would give it a 5 out of 10 rating. It was a very short walk to the beach. They do advise you to stay on the wet sand because of private beach owners. But we had no problems. We really enjoyed it and would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at Beachside Villas! The pool and tennis courts were very nice and well maintained, and the staff on site were all friendly and helpful. The condo was perfect for us - fully stocked with everything we needed, clean, and the beds were all very comfy. Short walk to a small space on the beach or shuttle service to larger space. We will return!
We had a great stay! Everything was clean. Plenty of towels and even provided soap and shampoo. We would definitely return to stay again. The beach was a short walk and the shuttle was provided as well. The area with the shallow water between the beach and the lake was perfect for our two year old.
We loved the area! We loved the condo! The sliding door on the condo was really hard to lock. Not sure if we ever figured it out. There was a bar that looked to be there to keep it from being opened but even it didn’t seem secure. Since it was ground level and we were two females traveling it was important to us- so we put our beach chairs against the curtains “just in case”. Area seems safe but just being cautious. The bathrooms were cleans EXCEPT the tracks for the shower door and bathtub door. Honestly really gross with gunky mold looking slime. I wanted to clean it but then I just didn’t have anything to clean it with. Someone needs to put some elbow grease to that! Used to be my job to keep those tracks and corners clean as a little girl at my house. I don’t know what to say about how we felt at the beach. It was beautiful and so nice to be able to walk to it easily. Which is WHY are rented it. Kept wondering what the catch was going to be - great prices 2 min walk from beach…if you get there early enough to get a spot! We weren’t allowed to rent chairs and umbrelllas and were told not to cross the line in the sand. We witnessed a homeowner yelling at a dad and his young son throwing football to get off her beach or she would call the police. I mean really? There was no rough language, loud music, or anything of the sort in the pizza slice of a beach we were relegated to sit at. I’m a teacher and I know I heard two others who were there saying they were teachers too. Florida has to do something about this. Everyone was taking about it on the beach…we were “those people”. “We don’t want “those people” over here!” We could walk on the wet sand. It was evident we were not welcome. Beautiful place to come, but if we had no shuttle and the idea was we were minutes from the beach, we would think twice before coming again. Again, I wanted to love it and come back again and again but what new surprises would we find next time? Wondering if we’d have anywhere to go to the beach if we came. I know it’s not y’all’s fault, and thank you for being the voice of those of us who would love to drive 5 hours for the weekend to relax. I feel bad for homeowners who don’t have a house or condo ON the beach! HOW did this happen or what caused people to think the beaches were to be owned- I guess that’s fine if there’s plenty of places to stay in the state parks with beaches or easy access? We’ve been coming for years and was hoping to start bringing grandchildren but then covid made people crazy I guess? Florida doesn’t want tourist anymore I guess. Really weird times. Address regulating what is allowed to come on the beach and music and tents and alcohol etc maybe but just to assume all tourist are “those bad people” is going to shoot the tourism industry in the foot! Thank you for asking. We loved the condo!
Beautiful condo! So close to the beach. The beds are so comfy. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bikes are an amazing perk!
