Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal), golf cart, or bikes! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
 
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
 
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (approx. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
 
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access.
 
 
Community Pool:
The Town of Prominence offers a 2 large resort style community pools! The New Prominence South Pool is located just steps from Sea Mist and features a stunning fire pit! The North Pool is over 5,000 sq ft and is just a short walk across 30A with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center!

This new two-story luxury town home presents a coastal feel of rest and relaxation in the heart of 30A. Being only minutes away from popular hotspots such as Seaside, Watersound, and Alys Beach! The comfortable living room offers new, plush furnishings adjacent to a well set dining room overlooking an outdoor patio. While the gourmet kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, Moen fixtures, and European style cabinetry.
 
Conveniently located on the first floor is a powder room and laundry room. The second floor holds all three bedrooms. Directly beside one another are the two guest bedrooms that feature a twin over full bunk bed and queen-size bed with a shared bathroom featuring a shower/tub combo. The master suite features a king-size bed and private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. All bathrooms feature Moen fixtures, and raised height vanities.

The dryer wasn’t working at first and a repair man did come to look at it. It was somewhat fixed but the dryer still wouldn’t turn off on its own. There needs to be hooks throughout the house for towels. Mostly bath towels but also somewhere to hang wet suits and towels. Measuring cups for kitchen would be nice. We encountered a security guard on the first day who told us little kids need to be in car seats while on the golf cart when on 30A which was very helpful because we hadn’t realized that. The house was very clean but the floors could use a very deep cleaning. All in all it was a great stay just needs places to hang towels!!!

We loved it! Having the golf cart and bikes was a huge plus…getting to the beach was not a huge inconvenience…I happily take that with having a spacious, new home to enjoy. Prominence is quiet although it was clearly sold out…also liked that it’s away from the congestion closer to Seaside but it’s still there if you want to get into it! Loved the Hub too…great family vacation

Loved it! Such a nice place. Clean, decorated nicely, loved the bikes, and the golf cart! The location is perfect for the area. The Hub, is across the street and made it easy to get around.

Our stay was fine. Our golf cart was fully charged, but barely made it back to the house the first night that we used it. Because of our fear of being stranded somewhere with to small children, it kept us using the golf cart at all. This was one of the reasons we chose this property, because it came with a golf cart. Another problem was the water in the kitchen never did get hot.

This house was tight for 2 families. The master bedroom was nice, but the other bedroom for adults is small with a small bed. The facilities are all really nice and upscale though. Parking is tight as this neighborhood has all the buildings and driveways all on top of each other. I wouldn't rent one of these places without a golf cart because the area is congested and traveling on cart is easier.

We loved our stay here! All the amenities you need. We were glad to see so many beach chairs as we didn’t have enough room to pack ours. Close pool access by either walking or the golf cart which was nice with kids. Beach access wasn’t too far either with the golf cart or car. The house was nice, clean and a breath of fresh air. Definitely recommend.

A beach umbrella would be very helpful to have with the beach chairs. One small pack of dishwasher cleaning tabs and three small trash bags is not sufficient for a full week with two families. Other than those things, we loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

It was nice to get away and the community was great and the communication through the app was really good. Only reason not five stars is we went two weeks without a fixed dishwasher that was not working before we got there. Doing dishes by hand for a family of five wasn’t part of our plan while on vacation so cannot give five stars. Other than that were just happy to be there and The Hub was an epic win with the teenaged and college aged kids.

Great accommodation, kitchen was fully equipped the only thing you need to bring is condiments and cleaning products. They do have plenty of bath towels. Golf cart is very conviniente and bike too. The only think I would say that need to improve is the cleaning, my kids were barefoot all the time and their feet were black from the floors. Overall a very cute place to stay.

Overall the stay was nice and the house was gorgeous, there are some things that would make other guests stay better. A much bigger Kitchen trash can is needed, it was very small for that amount of trash we generated during the week in the kitchen!! The Golf cart needs some maintenance, it made noises half the time we were there, I called Beachwalk management to have someone come and look at it, and nothing was done to fix the problem, so it wasn’t driven for half our trip. I booked the house knowing that would be a neat form of transportation for us. Lastly, the floors need to be majorly cleaned, all of us had black feet just walking in the house for a few short steps, we had to clean the bottoms of our feet to put shoes on! Almost feels like the stain was coming up From the floors, maybe they need an extra sealant?! Overall it was fine, still some Covid restrictions in places we didn’t feel were warranted, you need to have the latest Covid rules at the very front of the reservation, no grilling and no chairs at the pool was a big bummer! Overall we had a good time, just some things to think about for the management and owners.

The property was outstanding and the easy of electronic check in was great. Our only suggestion would be to upgrade the quality of the paper products in the residence. The toilet paper and paper towels were really poor quality. They didn't seem to fit with the other aspects of a first-class experience.
