Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal) or street legal golf cart! So many options!! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.6 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence.
The Town of Prominence offers a 2 large resort style community pools! The New Prominence South Pool is located just steps from Sea Mist and features a stunning fire pit! The North Pool is over 5,000 sq ft and is just a short walk across 30A with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center!

We loved our stay here!
House was great! Just a few things that may need attending before the next tenant comes in. These in no way hindered out stay or our comfortability, just wanted someome to be aware to they could be resolved. 1. The single bed bedroom remote does not work. We changed the batteries and still had issues with it. 2. There were little black ants in the master bathroom. Not a lot, but enough to notice. 3. The weather stripping on the door to the garage is coming off.
House was beautiful and clean in an equally beautiful community. The beach chairs, beach toys, small coolers made it so convenient and was appreciated (regardless if they may have been left behinds by previous guests). Items that would be helpful for the home (although not a deal breaker): bigger pans to cook for a large family - we are a blended of family of 7. It made it difficult to cook a meal with 4 small pans Towel racks/hooks: only 1 towel rack in master bathroom that held only 1 towel at a time Bathroom floor mats: only 1 small floor mat for shower More shampoo/ conditioner and cleaning pods available for use.
Wonderful place to stay with awesome amenities like golf cart, bikes, beach chairs, beautiful pool and more! So close to all the fun 30A has to offer like the hub, seaside shopping and restaurants, etc! Will definitely be coming back!!!
The townhouse was wonderful. Great location. Close to the beach and restaurants without being overcrowded. Only issue was we didn’t have a working stove or oven. The gas had been capped due to a leak and was not fixed before we arrived or while we were there.

We had a great trip and the home was beautiful. The beds were super comfortable. The home was very clean. Beach access was a little disappointing because you can no longer park the golf cart near the beach access as we have in previous years. I would have liked a better stocked kitchen, beach towels, and chairs but we made it work. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful property! We truly enjoyed our quick getaway and looking forward to our next trip! We only wish we had a little closer access to the beach, while the golf l cart was nice trying to find parking was difficult.
Nice area and central location, wish it was a little closer to beach access. People need a place to hang wet towels and swim suits where they can dry since we can't put them outside on the deck.
Perfect stay for our family of 4! We really enjoyed our time. Super easy to get to beaches and the weather was perfect. Unit could use more plates and there were a lot of bugs ion the ground floor when we arrived. We vacuumed the main floor and then things were fine after that.
Very clean. So close to the hub. Golf carts were great to get around.
We enjoyed our time at Crazy Sexy Beaches. The townhouse was perfect for our group. Two minor issues: 1. The master toilet had a tendency to get clogged easily. Probably needs to be snaked. 2. One of the bike’s seat would not stay up. Other than those minor issues, everything was exactly as advertised!
Nice place , very clean and has everything you need for the beach. So close to the HUB for food, drinks and Cigars. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
